Australian model 12 lamp for surgery

This lamp was used by the Australian military in operating rooms that had no electricity during WWII. The lamp appears to be a common WWII steel fount. What makes the lamp unique is its chimney which is steal with mica clear panels. It appears that this lamp was only sold to the Australian military during WW II so is quite rare.
